Frequently Asked Questions
How much additional cooking capacity does the ProQ Ranger Stacker 14" add for UAE outdoor cooking?
The ProQ Ranger Stacker 14" adds a full 34cm diameter third cooking level to the ProQ Ranger, effectively increasing the Ranger's total cooking grate area by 50% over the standard two-level configuration. For UAE outdoor camping BBQ sessions where the standard Ranger capacity (sufficient for 4-6 people) needs expansion to 6-8 people, the Stacker 14" provides the additional level to accommodate the extra cooking requirement. UAE ProQ Ranger owners who use their Ranger for variable-sized UAE group feeds benefit from the modular Stacker approach — use two levels for smaller UAE groups, add the Stacker for larger UAE group occasions.
Does adding the ProQ Ranger Stacker affect UAE smoking temperature management?
Adding the ProQ Ranger Stacker 14" section increases the total smoker chamber volume, which requires slightly more attention to UAE smoking temperature management in the extended configuration. UAE ProQ Ranger operators using the Stacker may find temperature takes slightly longer to stabilise and vent adjustments need small recalibration for the larger chamber. This is a minor adjustment for experienced UAE ProQ Ranger operators — the stacked Ranger still performs as a consistent UAE low-and-slow smoker with the temperature management techniques applied in the standard configuration, adjusted modestly for the additional chamber volume.
