ProQ Thermomount

The built-in ProQ lid thermometer measures temperature at the lid level, which can differ from the actual cooking grate temperature in the UAE smoking chamber — particularly in multi-level ProQ configurations where temperature varies by cooking level. Mounting an additional calibrated probe thermometer at the cooking grate level via the Thermomount gives UAE ProQ operators a more accurate UAE cooking chamber temperature reading at the actual food position. UAE ProQ serious smoking enthusiasts who run dedicated digital probe thermometers for precise UAE low-and-slow temperature management use the Thermomount to position their probe at the exact UAE cooking grate location for accurate session temperature monitoring.

Yes — the ProQ Thermomount is designed for outdoor UAE BBQ smoking use and functions in UAE outdoor conditions including UAE desert heat, sand exposure, and coastal humidity. The mounting bracket maintains the probe thermometer in a fixed position regardless of UAE outdoor conditions, keeping the temperature display readable and the probe correctly positioned throughout UAE long smoking sessions. UAE ProQ desert camping operators who run extended smoking sessions benefit from the Thermomount's fixed probe position that doesn't require repositioning during UAE outdoor session checks.
