Frequently Asked Questions
What makes Birch a good firewood choice?
Birch is one of the most popular firepit woods in Europe and beyond. It ignites easily, burns with a lively, bright flame, and produces a pleasant, mild aroma. Its higher natural moisture means it burns slightly faster than Oak or Beech but is excellent for quick-start fires.
How long will 21 litres of Birch firewood last?
A 21-litre bag of Birch is typically enough for 1–2 hours of continuous firepit use. For longer sessions, we recommend the 40L sack for better value and a sustained fire throughout an outdoor evening.
Is Bad Axe firewood available for delivery across the UAE?
Yes — all Bad Axe firewood products are available for delivery across the UAE through Elite Horizon (ehdxb.ae), with shipping to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and all emirates.
Can I use Birch in a pizza oven?
Yes — Birch works well in pizza ovens. Its fast ignition helps bring the oven up to temperature quickly. For sustained cooking, follow up with denser Bad Axe Oak or Beech logs once the oven is hot.
