Description
Bad Axe oak firewood is European oak, a very dense hardwood that gives a long burn with intense, sustained heat and a mild, earthy smoke. It is an all-purpose wood for fireplaces, wood-fired pizza ovens and live-fire grills, and pairs well with beef, lamb, brisket, seafood and vegetables.
The wood is FSC certified and kiln-dried to under 20% moisture, with a calorific value of approx. 4,600 kcal/kg (dry basis, indicative) and low ash. It comes as oven-ready splits in a 40 litre sack packed in the United Kingdom; sack weight varies with density and moisture. No warranty (consumable). Delivery and returns
Smaller items: 4-hour delivery in Dubai, or next working day across the UAE when you order by 2pm on a working day. Grills, smokers, heaters, firepits, large coolers, charcoal and firewood are delivered by our own team, usually within 1 to 3 working days.
Delivery is free on UAE orders of 500 AED or more, and 35 AED per delivery below that. 4-hour delivery in Dubai is always 35 AED. Click and collect from our Jebel Ali warehouse is free, and assembly is available on grills, smokers, pizza ovens and heaters.
