Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need the Burnhard Stainless Pizza Peel if I already have a wooden peel?
A wooden launching peel and metal retrieval peel serve different roles in UAE outdoor pizza making. Wooden peels excel at launching raw pizza onto the stone as the dough does not stick to wood as readily. Metal peels excel at retrieving cooked pizza and rotating it during cooking at the high temperatures inside the Burnhard TONY oven. Many UAE Burnhard TONY owners use a wooden peel for launching and the stainless peel for turning and retrieval — a complete peel setup gives the best UAE outdoor pizza results.
Is the Burnhard SS Pizza Peel compatible with other pizza ovens for UAE use?
Yes — the Burnhard stainless pizza peel is a standard format and is compatible with other outdoor pizza ovens beyond the Burnhard TONY range. UAE pizza enthusiasts who own Ooni, Gozney, or other pizza ovens alongside their Burnhard can use this peel across all of them. The stainless steel construction makes it compatible with all high-temperature pizza oven applications found in UAE outdoor kitchens.
