Frequently Asked Questions
What is the cooking capacity of the ProQ Excel with the 48cm Add-a-Grill grate?
The ProQ Excel 20 with its 48cm grill grates provides substantial UAE BBQ smoking capacity per cooking level — the large 48cm cooking surface comfortably fits a full brisket flat and point, 6+ rib racks vertically with the ProQ Rib Rack, a whole lamb shoulder, or multiple large chicken halves per grate level. UAE ProQ Excel owners regularly feed 20-30 guests from a single UAE smoking session using the Excel's full multi-level capacity. Adding a Smoker Stacker 20" section with an additional 48cm Add-a-Grill grate provides yet another full 48cm cooking level for maximum UAE ProQ Excel BBQ group feed capacity.
How does the ProQ Excel 48cm grate compare in durability for UAE outdoor conditions?
The ProQ 48cm Add-a-Grill stainless steel construction is appropriate for UAE outdoor conditions including desert heat, coastal humidity, and year-round outdoor storage typical of UAE BBQ setups. Stainless steel's corrosion resistance makes it more suitable than chrome-plated steel grates for UAE's humid coastal environment in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Ras Al Khaimah. UAE ProQ Excel owners who store their smoker outdoors year-round benefit from the stainless grate's resistance to the rust that would quickly affect non-stainless alternatives in UAE coastal outdoor environments.
