Frequently Asked Questions
How much food can the ProQ Excel 20 cook for a UAE group BBQ session?
The ProQ Excel 20 in its standard two-level configuration can comfortably hold a full 5-6kg brisket, a 3-4kg pork shoulder, and a full rack of ribs simultaneously — enough for a UAE group of 10-15 people. With a Smoker Stacker 20" adding a third cooking level, UAE ProQ Excel operators can cook for 20-30 guests in a single session. UAE BBQ hosts at desert camping events, garden BBQ parties in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and UAE corporate outdoor dining events use the ProQ Excel 20's large capacity to deliver serious BBQ smoking for sizeable UAE group feeds.
Is the ProQ Excel 20 suitable for UAE summer outdoor BBQ smoking?
Yes — the ProQ Excel 20 operates reliably in UAE summer conditions with appropriate adaptation. UAE ProQ Excel operators find that UAE summer ambient temperatures of 35-45°C require slightly more conservative vent settings to maintain target smoking temperatures compared to UAE winter conditions, as the ambient heat reduces the differential the smoker needs to maintain. UAE ProQ Excel users smoking in UAE summer should site the smoker in shade where possible to reduce ambient heat impact on temperature management, and may find the Excel reaches target temperatures faster — accounting for UAE summer conditions in UAE ProQ smoking session planning.
