Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Flatdog Canvas Bag essential for UAE desert camping transport?
Yes — the ProQ Flatdog Canvas Carry Bag is strongly recommended for UAE desert camping transport because UAE desert environments expose BBQ equipment to fine sand and dust that infiltrates folded metal components without protective carry solutions. The canvas bag keeps the ProQ Flatdog's hinges, grill surface, and legs clean between UAE desert camping sessions. UAE desert campers who transport their Flatdog in a vehicle to Al Qudra, Wahiba Sands, or Liwa camping sites find the canvas bag essential for protecting the Flatdog from UAE desert particulate accumulation during transit and storage.
Can the ProQ Flatdog Canvas Bag be stored after use with the Flatdog still warm from UAE BBQ?
No — the ProQ Flatdog should be fully cooled before storage in the canvas carry bag. UAE BBQ operators should allow the Flatdog to cool completely after a UAE outdoor cooking session before folding and packing into the canvas carry bag. Storing a warm Flatdog in the canvas bag creates a fire risk and can damage the canvas material. For UAE desert camping sessions where quick pack-up is desired, the Flatdog's foldable design means it cools rapidly in UAE desert evening conditions and is typically ready for canvas bag storage within 20-30 minutes of the final UAE BBQ session.
