Frequently Asked Questions
Why do UAE ProQ smoker owners need Gromlets for external thermometer probe use?
UAE ProQ low-and-slow BBQ smoker operators who use wireless or wired external thermometer systems (like Inkbird, ThermoWorks, or Meater) need to run probe cables from inside the UAE smoker to an external receiver or display. Without Gromlets, UAE smoker operators must either run cables through the lid seal — causing heat and smoke leakage — or use the existing vent holes, which affects airflow and UAE smoking temperature management. Gromlets create dedicated sealed cable entry points that allow UAE ProQ smoker operators to run multiple thermometer probes for simultaneous meat internal temperature and chamber temperature monitoring without compromising UAE smoker performance.
Are ProQ Gromlets compatible with all ProQ smoker models for UAE multi-probe BBQ monitoring?
Yes — ProQ Gromlets are designed for universal compatibility across ProQ bullet smoker models including the Ranger, Frontier, and Excel 20. UAE ProQ smoker operators who use multi-probe thermometer systems for simultaneous monitoring of multiple meats and the smoker chamber temperature benefit from installing Gromlets at their preferred UAE smoker probe entry positions. A pack of 4 provides enough Gromlets for comprehensive UAE ProQ multi-probe monitoring coverage across a single UAE smoker or for installation in multiple UAE ProQ smoker units.
