Frequently Asked Questions
How does UAE outdoor storage without a cover damage a ProQ Frontier over time?
UAE outdoor ProQ Frontier storage without a cover accelerates several forms of long-term degradation: UV from direct UAE sun fades and cracks powder-coated surfaces; coastal UAE humidity in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Ras Al Khaimah creates oxidation on metal surfaces and fittings not protected by coating; UAE desert dust and sand accumulate in vents, thermometer gaskets, and air vent mechanisms, reducing UAE smoking performance; and UAE temperature cycling from hot days to cooler nights causes expansion and contraction stress on unprotected surfaces. The ProQ Frontier Cover addresses all these UAE outdoor storage risk factors for significantly longer ProQ working life.
Can UAE ProQ Frontier owners leave the cover on during UAE light rain events?
Yes — the ProQ Frontier Cover is designed for UAE outdoor weatherproof protection including rain exposure. UAE does experience occasional rainfall events, particularly during the UAE winter months (November-March), and the Frontier Cover's weatherproof construction protects the smoker from moisture ingress during these events. UAE ProQ Frontier owners who store their smoker outdoors year-round can leave the cover in place during UAE winter rain events without concern about cover damage or inadequate smoker protection.
