Frequently Asked Questions
What UAE ProQ smoking tasks require heat-resistant gloves like the Ulti-Mitt?
UAE ProQ smoking tasks that require heat-resistant gloves include: opening and closing the ProQ access door during active UAE smoking sessions; repositioning hot charcoal in the UAE ProQ basket with tongs while wearing gloves for secondary protection; removing hot grill grates from the ProQ for cleaning after UAE smoking sessions; handling the ProQ water pan during UAE mid-cook water level checks; and pulling cooked meats like UAE smoked brisket or lamb from the ProQ at cooking completion. The Ulti-Mitt's heat-resistant construction makes all these UAE ProQ smoking management tasks significantly safer than bare-hand or standard oven-glove approaches.
Are the ProQ Ulti-Mitt gloves washable after UAE BBQ and smoking use?
Check the ProQ Ulti-Mitt care instructions for washing guidance specific to the glove's material construction. UAE ProQ BBQ operators who use their Ulti-Mitt regularly for charcoal and fat contact during UAE smoking sessions should follow the manufacturer's washing guidance to maintain the gloves' heat-resistant properties while managing the inevitable UAE BBQ-use soiling that accumulates during active UAE ProQ smoking sessions. Having two pairs of ProQ Ulti-Mitt gloves in UAE outdoor cooking rotation allows one pair to be washed while the other remains available for ongoing UAE ProQ smoking sessions.
