Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between bypass and anvil pruners?
Bypass pruners have two blades that pass each other (like scissors), making clean cuts that are gentler on plant tissue — ideal for live stems and healthy plant pruning. Anvil pruners have one blade that crushes against a flat surface — better for dead wood but harsher on live stems. For UAE garden plant health, bypass pruners are the preferred choice.
