Frequently Asked Questions
How do I use liquid firelighter safely?
Apply the firelighter to cold, unlit charcoal only. Wait 1–2 minutes for the liquid to penetrate before igniting. NEVER apply liquid firelighter to hot or already-burning charcoal — this is extremely dangerous.
Does liquid firelighter affect the taste of food?
PureFire's clean-burning formula is designed to burn off completely before cooking begins. Always allow the firelighter to burn off fully and wait until coals are ash-coated before placing food on the grill.
Is liquid firelighter better than cubes?
Liquid firelighter is faster-acting as it penetrates the charcoal surface quickly. Cubes are more convenient and safer to use as there's no pouring involved. Many UAE outdoor chefs keep both on hand for different scenarios.
