Frequently Asked Questions
How many lighter cubes do I need per BBQ session?
Typically 1–2 cubes are sufficient to ignite a standard charcoal arrangement. For larger grills or damp conditions, using 2 cubes ensures reliable ignition. Nest them within a pyramid of charcoal or kindling for best results.
Are these safe to use around food?
PureFire White Paraffin Lighter Cubes burn cleanly and are food-safe once fully burned off. Always allow the starter to burn completely and ensure coals are properly lit and ash-coated before placing food on the grill.
How do paraffin cubes compare to liquid firelighter?
Paraffin cubes are safer and more convenient — no liquid pouring, no splash risk. They take slightly longer to ignite a full charcoal load but provide a reliable, sustained burn that makes them the preferred choice for many UAE outdoor chefs.
Can I use these in a Bad Axe or any other firepit?
Yes — PureFire lighter cubes work with any open fire including Bad Axe firepits, pizza ovens, outdoor fireplaces, and standard BBQ grills.
