PureFire 5kg Natural Hardwood Charcoal

Pure Fire Natural Charcoal is premium African hardwood lumpwood charcoal in a 5 kg bag, ethically sourced and easy to light, with high, steady heat for grilling.

The charcoal is made from Ayin and Acacia hardwood carbonised by traditional methods, graded into natural lumps of 40 to 250 mm. Typical values are fixed carbon 75% minimum, ash 5% maximum and moisture 4% maximum, with a calorific value of 6,800 to 7,000 kcal/kg and a burn time of 3 to 5 hours. It is non-sparking with no unburnt wood. Never burn charcoal indoors, in vehicles, tents or other enclosed spaces: it releases carbon monoxide, which is odourless and can kill. Light it with proprietary BBQ lighters, never petrol or other volatile liquids, and never add lighter fluid to a lit barbecue. No warranty (consumable). Quality guarantee: replaced if it does not meet its stated specification.
