Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use this on a small apartment balcony in Dubai?
Check your building's rules before using any open flame on a balcony or rooftop. Subject to those rules, The Spark is one of the more compact options for small outdoor spaces. Always use on a heat-resistant surface and maintain safe distances from walls and furniture.
What wood should I use in a compact firepit?
Split, shorter logs and kindling work best in compact firepits. Bad Axe Birch in the 21L bag is an ideal match — it lights fast, burns cleanly, and the log sizes are well-suited to a smaller fire bowl.
Is a small firepit as warm as a large one?
A compact firepit produces less radiant heat than a large open bowl simply due to fire size. For 2–3 people gathered closely, it creates a genuinely pleasant, warming fire atmosphere. For large group warmth, a bigger Bad Axe firepit is more effective.
