Frequently Asked Questions
What can I cook on a cast iron griddle?
A cast iron griddle is incredibly versatile. Use it for pancakes, eggs, bacon, burgers, grilled sandwiches, flatbread, Arabic khubz, tortillas, and seared fish fillets. The flat surface is ideal for any food that benefits from full contact with the cooking surface.
How do I use a cast iron griddle on a campfire?
Place the griddle over a stable fire grate or directly on hot coals for 5–10 minutes to preheat. The cast iron will hold heat evenly for a sustained cook. Use long-handled Barebones Cowboy Grill tools to operate safely over the fire.
