Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a coal shovel if I use a Barebones Chimney Grill Starter?
The Chimney Starter handles ignition, but a coal shovel is needed to transfer and arrange lit coals safely once they're ready. The coal shovel is an important safety and control tool for any outdoor charcoal cooking setup — not just for ignition but for ongoing fire management throughout the cook.
