Frequently Asked Questions
Can I heat water directly in a cast iron teapot?
Yes — the Barebones Enamel Lined Cast Iron Teapot is designed for heating water on a stove or fire. The enamel interior makes it safe for boiling water and brewing tea directly in the pot.
Is this suitable for outdoor use?
Absolutely — cast iron teapots are a beloved outdoor item, perfect for brewing tea over a Barebones Cowboy Grill fire or campfire. In UAE culture, outdoor tea-making is a central part of outdoor gatherings, making this a culturally significant piece.
How do I clean the cast iron exterior?
Wipe the exterior with a dry cloth only. The enamel interior can be rinsed with warm water. Never use soap on the raw cast iron exterior — it removes the natural protective coating.
