Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Laptop Base Layer necessary if my Matador bag already has a laptop sleeve?
If your Matador bag has a built-in padded laptop sleeve, the Base Layer adds an extra layer of cushioning — useful for UAE business travellers whose laptops hold critical client data and cannot afford damage. If your bag's laptop area has minimal padding, the Base Layer is a valuable addition to protect expensive laptops on UAE commutes and flights.
Does this protect against the drops and bumps of a typical Dubai commute?
Yes — the all-sides padding protects against the everyday drops and impacts of Dubai commuting, airport transit, and business travel. It is designed for the regular wear of UAE daily use, not extreme drops from significant heights. For additional protection, consider a laptop sleeve in addition to the base layer.
