Frequently Asked Questions
What makes a Nakiri knife different from a regular chef knife?
A Nakiri knife has a thin, flat rectangular blade optimised specifically for vegetables. The flat blade contacts the cutting board fully with each cut rather than rocking — enabling fast, efficient straight-down chopping motions. For vegetable-heavy UAE cooking including salads, stir-fries, and vegetable side dishes, a Nakiri is significantly more efficient than a standard chef knife.
