Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Grill Plate 480/570 the same as the Cast Iron Diamond Grate 570 for UAE OutdoorChef owners?
No — the Grill Plate 480/570 is a flat plancha griddle surface, while the Cast Iron Diamond Grate 570 is a ridged grate with a diamond bar pattern for traditional grill marks. The Grill Plate provides flat contact surface cooking ideal for UAE prawns, eggs, and flatbreads; the Diamond Grate provides ridged sear marks ideal for UAE steaks and chops. UAE OutdoorChef 480/570mm owners who want both cooking styles should invest in both accessories for maximum versatility.
Can two Grill Plate 480/570 accessories be used simultaneously in the OutdoorChef 570mm grill for UAE large-scale plancha?
The OutdoorChef 570mm cooking surface may accommodate a half-moon configuration using the Half-Moon Cooking Set (2-piece) for simultaneous different cooking surface arrangements. For UAE large-scale plancha cooking needs, consult Elite Horizon about optimal accessory configurations for the 570mm format. The single Grill Plate 480/570 covers the appropriate cooking surface for a single OutdoorChef 570mm grill and is the standard accessory for UAE plancha cooking on the 480/570mm platform.
