Frequently Asked Questions
What UAE outdoor cooking styles does the ProQ Afterburner Griddle enable on a smoker setup?
The ProQ Afterburner Griddle transforms the ProQ bullet smoker into a flat-top cooking surface, enabling UAE outdoor cooking styles that standard grill grates cannot — smash burgers with a proper sear, UAE-style khameer flatbreads, eggs and bacon for UAE desert camping breakfasts, quesadillas, pancakes, stir-fried vegetables, and UAE shawarma-style meats cooked flat. UAE BBQ enthusiasts who want to diversify their ProQ's cooking repertoire beyond standard grill marks find the Afterburner Griddle adds genuine flat-top cooking versatility to their existing ProQ setup without purchasing a separate flat-top grill appliance.
Does the ProQ Afterburner Griddle work on a standard charcoal chimney for UAE camping?
The ProQ Afterburner Griddle is designed for use in ProQ smoker grate positions above a charcoal fuel basket, which provides the heat required for effective flat-top cooking temperatures. For UAE camping setups where a ProQ smoker is available, the Afterburner Griddle sits in the standard grate position above the charcoal for direct-heat flat-top cooking. UAE camping chefs who use the Afterburner for camping breakfasts in the ProQ Ranger find it delivers excellent flat-top cooking results with the smoker's lid off for direct UAE outdoor charcoal heat.
