Frequently Asked Questions
What UAE outdoor cooking menus benefit most from the ProQ Excel Plancha Griddle?
The ProQ Excel Plancha Griddle excels for UAE outdoor cooking menus requiring flat-top preparation at group scale: UAE smash burger sessions for large groups, UAE-style shawarma chicken or lamb thin slices seared to caramelised char on the flat plancha surface, sautéed mushrooms and peppers for UAE steak accompaniments, UAE khameer or khubz flatbreads cooked directly on the plancha, and UAE-inspired eggs and halloumi for outdoor group breakfast cooking. The large Excel-scale plancha surface allows UAE outdoor entertaining hosts to cook multiple food components simultaneously at the same heat source.
Can UAE ProQ Excel owners use the Plancha Griddle and grill grate simultaneously?
The ProQ Excel Plancha Griddle occupies the grate position within the smoker section it is installed in, replacing the standard grill grate in that level. UAE ProQ Excel owners who run multi-level configurations can combine a plancha in one level and standard grate(s) in other levels for simultaneous UAE flat-top and grill cooking — a setup that significantly expands the ProQ Excel's cooking repertoire for UAE outdoor entertaining with diverse menus requiring both grilled and flat-top prepared components in the same UAE outdoor cooking session.
